A few notes before you head out: foliage is peaking now in the north and working its way south through the weekend, so northern events will have the most dramatic color. Most of these are rain-or-shine, but check the event's own page before you drive — times and ticket availability can change. And if you're coming from out of state, give yourself extra time on Route 100 and Route 7 — everyone else had the same idea.
