💬 The Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) Nature Center sits on a 47-acre campus beside Quechee Gorge. The nonprofit's raptor center cares for birds of prey that cannot return to the wild, with 17 raptor enclosures, a wild songbird aviary, and the Forest Canopy Walk, an accessible boardwalk through the treetops. VINS runs avian rehabilitation, environmental education, and daily educational programs, and maintains nature trails along the Ottauquechee River. It is open daily and pairs naturally with a visit to the gorge.
