💬 Killington Resort is the largest ski area in the eastern United States, set in the Green Mountains of central Vermont. The resort offers 155 trails and around 22 lifts across more than 1,500 acres of skiable terrain, with a 3,050-foot vertical drop from a 4,241-foot summit — the greatest vertical in New England. Known as the 'Beast of the East,' Killington is famous for its long season and powerful snowmaking, plus summer activities like mountain biking, scenic gondola rides, and hiking.
