💬 Frank Saliani has spent 36 years in clay, and his Green House Pottery studio at 203 Barre Street in Montpelier is a one-man operation where every piece starts from his own custom molds. With a BFA from Syracuse and an MFA from Ohio University, plus residencies across the country, Frank casts porcelain into teapots, cups, and serving pieces in soothing greens and blues. He teaches classes for kids and adults, opens his studio for Vermont's Open Studio Weekend, and sits on the Vermont Crafts Council board. Visiting means watching raw material become something you'll use every day — and hearing, firsthand, why the making matters as much as the mug.
