💬 Owned by the McGrath family since 1977, the Inn at Long Trail is a rustic, authentically charming inn on Route 4 in Killington, a short walk from Pico's base lodge and the Long Trail and Deer Leap trailheads. Rooms come with a made-to-order breakfast served in Rosemary's dining room, and the inn is home to McGrath's Irish Pub — about as close to a real Irish pub as you will find stateside, with Guinness, Irish whiskeys, and live music. It is a longtime favorite base for skiers, hikers, and Appalachian Trail travelers passing through the Green Mountains.
