💬 Magic Mountain Ski Area is an independently owned ski resort on Glebe Mountain in Londonderry, Vermont. The mountain drops 1,500 vertical feet from a 2,850-foot summit to a 1,350-foot base, and is known for steep, natural, old-school terrain and glade skiing. Founded in the early 1960s, Magic closed in 1991 and reopened in 1997; in November 2016 SKI MAGIC LLC bought the mountain and invested more than $2 million in snowmaking, lifts, and the lodge, debuting the new Black Line Quad in February 2024. Magic caps ticket sales to keep the slopes uncrowded.
