A deep, cold 80-acre pond in Newark reaching 72 feet, Center Pond is managed for brook trout and lake trout. The state access off Center Pond Road offers a gravel launch and room for a few trailers. Its depth keeps the trout water cold all summer, making it one of the more interesting small-pond trout fisheries in the Kingdom.
